HP Universal Print Drivers and Windows 7

Finally HP has released a universal driver that works for all their printers. Now network administrators can have a single driver and install it over and over again on the print server only needing to create/choose a different IP address as the port for each printer.

However, nothing simple lasts long. With the introduction of 64 bit operating systems, there are two universal print drivers. One is 32bit and the other 64bit. Then there's the choice of PCL5 or PCL6 giving 4 combinations. Still it's a lot simpler than the old days.

Stealth Launches Smallest Mini PC to Date

Stealth computers located in the USA has launched their smallest mini PC to date. It utilises Intel's Mobile Core 2 Duo Processors and is barely larger than an iPhone measuring (4.0" x 6.1" x 1.45") It provides high CPU performance, I/O connectivity, graphics performance and hard drive space typically found in large PC systems. It can also be optionally fitted with a solid state hard drive.

These PC's run on 12V DC so can be a good solution for use in cars or remote places. It could also be fitted inside a briefcase for the purpose of demonstrating pheripheral devices.
